Teaching Experience
As a designer, illustrator and mixed media artist, I have been an instructor at Laney Community College
for over 7 years and now retired. Prior to teaching at Laney College, I was, for over 15 years, an instructor at the Art Institute of California, San Francisco, CA, and, before moving to the Bay Area, I was an Assistant Professor at Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, IL. Currently, I continue my fine and graphic arts work and volunteer as a web/print designer for the UC Berkeley Section Club – a philanthropic organization dedicated to raising scholarship and emergency funds for UC Berkeley graduate and undergraduate students.

Educational Projects & Background
As an educator, I have helped to develop curriculum for the Graphic Design, Fine Arts and Color Theory programs and have taught a wide-range of courses including fundamentals of design, color theory, painting & drawing, Adobe InDesign, Collage & Assemblage. I received my BFA and MFA Degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago .
